Sub: Proposal for 150 th Birth Anniversary celebration of Mahatma Gandhi. Sir / Madam, Mahatma Gandhi was a world citizen, respected and revered for his concern for humankind, it would be appropriate if his life and message could be taken to a larger stream of the society. As a profound believer in the Gandhian Ideology, I feel strongly that Gandhiji’s life and the message should be an integral part of all our nation’s psyche and existence on his 150 th birth anniversary in 2019 . Hena Chakraborty an artist, now President , SATYAM SHIVAM SUNDARAM Registered Trust (working in the national interest to bring peaceful action through harmony ), was associated with the then Gandhi Darshan [now Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, N.Delhi.] as an artist in the year 1968. She had the opportunity to prepare numerous paintings on Gandhiji’s thoughts and philosophy as photography was very limited and Gandhi Darshan did not have any photographi...
